ADGC was funded in 2009 to compile the collective resources of the Alzheimer’s disease research community to enable genome-wide association studies to identify the genetic underpinnings of AD. The Consortium produces and brings together data from well-characterized patients from the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers (ADRCs) and other multi-ethnic cohorts to allow coordinated analyses of AD/ADRD. ADGC cohorts have been included across all phases of ADSP.
