The ADSP Coordinating Center (ADSP CC), established in September 2025, serves as a central hub for all ADSP activities. Building on ADSP’s productivity to date, the ADSP CC has the following primary functions:
Administration and Coordination
- Central point of contact for communication within ADSP and externally
- Provide administrative and logistical support for ADSP Working Groups and Committees
- Manage this central ADSP website to provide information and resources for both investigators and the public
- Develop comprehensive reports to track ADSP progress
- Plan and implement annual program meetings
Collaboration and Outreach
- Facilitate ADSP-wide strategic planning to collaboratively refocus and update the project’s organizational structure and governance to accelerate progress
- Promote synergy and enhance teamwork across ADSP components and members
- Provide direct scientific and project management support to new multi-component collaborative research projects
- Strengthen existing and establish new partnerships with the global AD/ADRD research community
- Coordinate with data producers and repositories to support production, documentation, and sharing of FAIR (findable, usable, interoperable, and reproducible) data
Education and Training
- Enhance and expand the pool of engaged scientists through targeted education and training initiatives
- Develop, generate, and disseminate distance learning modules
- Engage early-stage investigators from a variety of disciplines in mentorship cohorts
- Provide education and training outreach through virtual office hours and academic workshops
- Design and operate an ADSP fellowship program to support innovative pilot projects
Across these domains, the ADSP CC facilitates dissemination of ADSP research findings, progress, data, software, tools, and other products and resources to the broader scientific community and the general public.
