The primary goal of CADRE is to analyze sequence data from ethnically diverse AD/ADRD datasets using state-of-the-art approaches and translate these findings into high-priority therapeutic targets. To reach this goal, CADRE carries out analyses within and across ethnic groups using ADSP and additional sequencing data. Admixture analysis is used for fine mapping, and statistical and biological information are used to prioritize among identified variants and genes. Genetic association data are integrated with structural and gene expression data to generate a comprehensive biological network that is used to prioritize loci for functional testing as therapeutic targets.
