Seattle, WA, USA
Abstract Submission Deadline

Description

The CHARGE Research Steering Committee (RSC) invites you to submit an abstract for the upcoming CHARGE Seattle Investigator Meeting, to be held on the University of Washington campus, November 18 & 19, 2026.

CHARGE Seattle: Submit Abstract

The deadline for abstract submissions is Monday, September 14 (6 PM EDT)

Presentations from working groups and young investigators are vital components of every CHARGE meeting. We anticipate providing up to 15 early-career travel awards to investigators with highly rated abstracts. We welcome submissions for oral and poster presentations. Because CHARGE is a confidential internal "study" meeting, abstracts submitted to other national/international conferences are eligible and welcome for co-submission.

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

  • Please note there is a limit of one abstract per presenting author. Further instructions and formatting requirements are described on the submission form.
  • Abstract submissions should indicate the CHARGE Working Group (if any) affiliation. Abstracts by CHARGE-affiliated investigators using omics data from other settings such TOPMed, MVP, or UKB are welcome.

TRAVEL AWARDS

  • The RSC will award up to 15 travel grants to early career investigators (students, post-docs, and assistant professors) with highly rated abstracts. To be considered, please indicate interest and eligibility on the abstract submission form. Note: Federal employees (e.g. NIH) and industry/commercial employees are not eligible to receive travel awards.

POSTER SESSION and POSTER BLITZ

  • A poster reception will take place on the evening of Wednesday, November 18.
  • During the Wednesday afternoon Congress session, we will hold a "Poster Blitz", where each presenter has 1 minute to present key findings to the main assembly. Indicate your interest in participating on the submission form.

Given the complexity of securing travel support, CHARGE is announcing that it will accept all appropriate abstracts submitted on time for the poster reception. Please do not wait for the travel award announcements to find funding, as there is limited time between the announcement of awards and registration deadlines. CHARGE will confirm poster and oral presentation assignments with the presenting author.
